No Flp-pulled Over
#11
Matt,
My FLP ticket was ~$62, and there was no discount available for proof of remedy. FWIW, it doesn't seem to be very well enforced to most. In reality, it's probably selectively enforced to ricers and in situations where they want to "add on" to another violation(s) for something that pissed the cop off. That's what happened to the 3 Amigos on their way back from 55...the DPS trooper knew from several calls that they'd been traveling MUCH faster than what he busted them for. All he could do about it was throw on another ticket.

I like the way it looks without the L/P, but I don't need any extra attention from the Police. Guess I'll keep the fron license plate on.
BTW
Hey Merlot. We met the other day in front of Randall's.

Yeah, its quite the pricey ticket. I found most cops are lax about it. Most will warn you about it if you get pulled over for something else, but if they pull you over specifically for that, you'll be lucky to get a warning.
And hey, if anyone can come up with a more believeable excuse, please, share it. And having an excuse certainly is better than none.

Excuse No 1. The bracket is on backorder
Officer, I recently moved back here after being in Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Mississippi, New Mexico, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, or West Virginia. These states do not require a front plate.
The bracket is on order from Randy's Halfway-House of License Plate Accessories. Honest. The plate is in the trunk. Wanna see?
