New Austin s2k member
Hi yall my name is Chris. Wanted to stop in and introduce myself to the rest of yall. I live in S. Austin. I got a 2000 Silverstone w/black OEM rims that I'm pick up a while back. Use to have a RSX Type S but wanted to get something RWD to switch it up. Hope to meet yall and make it some meets or autox events.

The S2000 experience is truly a unique one. We have a great community but with the summer heat things are a bit slow. The Austin group is more active on the "other site"
In the past month we've had a twisters sisters drive with the Houston crew and BWW meet last Saturday! There was also a big SCCA Autocross event at college station that a few members attended.
Just keeping checking the boards for activities! If your interested we're having Cars & Rides on the 30th of this month in SATX, I'm sure Austin has something similar coming up.

Finally someone else that actually autocrosses their s2k! Hit up rickycrx or myself if you have any questions about it; there's also a dedicated autox thread for the 2011 season.

Haven't actually tried the autox yet been really wanting to so I can get familar with the s2k. Is there anything I need to for the Autox besides a helmet? Any good sites to buy a helmet at?
