MARCH FUN RUN 2013
Special thanks go out to everyone that participated in the December Run in Austin, and made it a success.
150 cars!…0 accidents!…0 tickets!
It was a GREAT turnout, and now it’s time to clear your calendars for March….
Only this time, the stakes are higher.
For those of you that crave more than what Lime Creek and 1431 can offer…I submit to you an invitation to the Three Twisted Sisters.
Remote…challenging…and not for the inexperienced driver.

Looks like the 3 Sisters will be busy Easter weekend. Bike and car groups have booked rooms and posted routes on the same circuit. We're staying with a group of S2000 owners in the area that make the drive every Easter and will be driving the loop that weekend as well. Should be a good weekend for scenic cruising. Bikes and holiday law enforcement tend to keep speeds in check. The Harley bike groups will be found riding two abreast at about 40 mph. Beat the traffic and drive early if you can. See you there.

335 and 337 are a bit smoother with fewer cattle guards but watch out for falling rocks through the passes. If you travel south to north on 335 you can miss most of the rocks on the west side of the road. I've seen rocks the size of a basketball on the road following a blind curve. Unless you are driving a truck you will not clear one of those.

Nice to see that you're on here recruiting for this run Marc. Haha This is Steven we met the other night at the "Awesome" Saturday night meet that your buddy Rich brought his R8, I was with Michael. I will be riding along with someone I'm sure. My hunt for my second S2K is taking a while, possibly because I'm looking for a CR this time around
