Default Looking for shop to install 4.77 gears

Hey, i recently ordered a pair of 4.77s and do not want to go threw the headaches of a bad install.

If anyone can recommend a great shop for differential work to drop my car off at please do so!

You can try one of the performance shops around town such as Precision R or Maximum Velocity. I've only gotten my car tech-inspected for a track day event at Precision R but they seem to have a good head on their shoulders and Gus and a few others have gone there for mod installments.

For gears, I dunno if Precision R can do it but I know the best place is probably at diff shop or a jeep mechanic shop...

Ah cool. I didn't think about a shop specializing in differentials. A quick look on Google Maps shows these guys guys here in town...

http://www.charliethrashdifferentialandaxle.com/

They're on West Ave. just south of Loop 410.

When I bought my S2000 it had already come with 4.56 gears and the previous owner said he had them installed at Nogalitos Gears or something like that. They've been working fine, no problems so far.

There must be a shop closer than SA for you. If you live around Austin there should be plenty of good shops up there!
