i don't recommend getting coilovers in that price range. It will be downgrade compared to the S2K oem suspension.

I think upgraded shocks will your best option.
I hear the Buddy Club N+ are good from my research.

Buddy Club N+ will not be downgrading from oem. ANY lowering spring with stock shock is def downgrading from oem. I'm ordering BC N+ next month.

HKS Single, Berk Header, HFC, ZEX... Lol, you said $1k max, now we're up to $2500 - $3k...

Um yeah

the buddly club n+ are nice and i considered before i ended up changing my mind at the very last moment - the price is great for the product. but ive read many reviews on how for DD and standard street driving - a lot of owners wished they would have waited. they are claimed to be uncomfortable and that the product damper settings suck and shouldnt even be a part of product *due to lack of productivity*.

i was going to purchase the buddly club n+ but decided to save an extra $300 and go for the Bilstein PSS9 kit.

To each their own I suppose, mine will be seeing mostly DD duties with ocassions of spirited driving. So...the Buddy Clubs seem like a perfect fit for me.

Stock stocks are not designed/tuned to be driven lowered. You'll ride on the bumpstops more, and longevity will likely be diminished.
