Little Repair advice needed
I have some light damage to my car and the lack of perfection is killing me. I am lucky that all the damage is miraculously on one door, considering it happened on three seperate occasions.
I have what appears to be a "BB" dent (I can only describe it as such...fairly deep) and the dent guy said no way, a key or "crazy rock" scratch, and a fairly noticeable ripple, probably from someone leaning on it. Anyway, took it to Gunn Collision for an estimate and the total was $498 with a possible $125 increase if they feel the need to do additional paint blending into other panels.
Sound fair, or any reccomendations?
Also, noticed some guys were running without front plates at the Auto X. I decided to try it...any tickets or issues?

Take your front plate off, bend it up a little and store it in the trunk. If you ever get questioned about it, tell the cop it came off in the car wash yesterday, and offer to show him. It has never failed me. [And the last time I got pulled over, he didn't even mention it. And he let me go for speeding 67 in a 55!]

Steve, that is a brilliant idea. For the RX7 I have to have a bumper bracket, so I should grab one and break it, and say it broke.
BTW, they should KNOW if they're going to have to blend it into the other panels, and should quote you both prices.

That is definitely a great idea about the plate!! I have never had mine on the front of my S2k. I only got pulled over once; sitting at a red light, by a couple of bicycle cops. They just gave me a warning and sent me on my way. I told them that when I got the car, there wasn't a front bracket on it to mount the plate.
As for the cost of the repair; that's probably not too far off. $500 to do the work SHOULD include them making it perfect, whether they have to blend or not.
I've heard of people having fenders and such repainted and it costs around $350 or so.
