track events at RCR = 14 seconds *'s the # of runs, so given that you'd probably do 4 runs that equates to ~56 or 57 seconds of track time. just under one minute of pushing the car.
track events at TWS = 22-25 minutes * 4x's a day * 2 days, so that equates to ~200 minutes, roughly three hours of pushing the car constantly over two days time.
you know which one I'd vouch for May. =D
John Eagle Honda Days - went to two events of theirs so far, enjoyed it very much, and because there's lots of S2000's its also a social event for the Houston/Dallas and Austin people - among others that venture in from SA and even Arkansas. Lots of fun, but I always hear that Driver's Edge has better instructions from instructors because of the time they spend with you and because the # of cars are much less than at JEH Days.

Between March: Drivers Edge and May: John Eagle S2000 day at TWS
which one would be most beneficial to me. I've never been to a track event (don't know what you would call River City Raceway) but I would love to improve my driving skills and be able to test my skills on the track. I would really appreciate the input.

Another thing is that SASCA has monthly AutoCrosses in the parking lot of River City Raceway every month. May, you should probably come out and AutoCross for a couple of times before going to a high speed event. I've found that if you learn how a car handles at lower speeds and learn how to push those limits, then you will have more comfort when things happen at high speed events. On a high speed track, a mistake could end up with body damage. In AutoCross, a mistake just ends up with a hurt ego (or a really fun spin, if you have the right attitude about it and just come out there for fun like most of us do).
