Default Is Howdy Honda decent for service?

Ok, I called First Texas Honda as recommended by others here to have the clutch recall, window recall, and an oil change performed. They want to keep my car for three days.

I called Howdy Honda and they told me same day turn around; the only thing I might have to wait for is for parts to come in (but I keep my car during that time).

Will Howdy Honda say anything about my CAI? Has anyone had service done there? I could do it at First Texas, but I'd really prefer the one day turn around from Howdy Honda. Anyone?

I know for sure that First Texas is "mod friendly". I am not sure about Howdy Honda's service, but I would trust First Texas, their mechanics have worked on a lot of our S2K's.

If you still have your Celica, than dont worry about the 3 day turn around. Talk to Garrett Liming at First Texas, and let him know you need your car ASAP. He might be able to schedule you a little better.

I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and hand it over for three days. Thats why I want to get it taken care of because I do have the celica still.

For future reference, it may help to take the car into Howdy first thing in the morning. And if you let them know you want the car the same way it came they will be extra careful to avoid any possible complaints. Once I took mine in and made sure they knew I was serious about my car and they were so paranoid they claimed that they made a scratch that was already there. They said they would fix it for free I said Late.

I have a CAI and I did the clucth recall with Howdy Honda, no complaints here. Again I made sure they had the parts and I had a serious conversation with the service technician about who was allow to drive my car and any possible damage.

We even did a physical inspection of the car before and after. They did a good job.

Hey guys, let me know when you come by Howdy Honda so I can say hello. I don't come in until 11:00 but I am here until 8:00.

Hey Kirk, I was just in there this morning. Had my white S2000 looked at. Talked to Andrew. You guys are cool. I'll definently be bringing my car in every time she needs something done that I can't handle. I'm also looking at buying an Element there.

Glad you had a good experience with us. What color and model Element are you looking at? I have driven a couple and they are actually pretty fun to drive.

I like the grey/black ones. I really like the functional aspect of it. I am probably going to be taking my car back in tomorrow morning as my problems persist. You guys give out loaner cars if service is going to take a long time? It'd be sweet if I could take a Element out for a few days while my s2k is in there. Any chance of getting hooked up
