I had an awesome time. I cannot beleive how much more comfortable driving I am now than before the trip. The quick ride home was awesome as well. Jimmy and I did pretty well going home. It seems easier manuevering through traffic without 8 people in front of you. BTW the drive home was beautiful. I think all those little towns along the guadalupe were very beautiful. Can we use one of those towns as a base next time? One place that looked nice was Hunt or around there. Thank you everyone, especially Chris.

We made it home after 725 round trip miles - and what a great weekend! Thanks to all the participants for making our first S2000 gtg really memorable. I vote for doing this again in the spring. Thanks to Sondra for leading the way and extra special thanks to Chris (the flying exterminator) for organizing a great ride over some remarkable roads!

hehe, you guys stopped at one of the exotic game ranches on 335, I take it? That's a beautiful drive out there.... I must go on that drive again sometime, myself... I miss those roads out there. I'm just glad I still remembered every one of the turns on 337 -- you come in just 5mph too hot on one of those, and you're screwed :-)

Dude me too, I had a blast on the way home. I didn't know I was going slow. I was just trying match your pace, but not ride your ass. I wanted to go faster on a couple of those straight rodes. But I was happy with the trip, thanks for leading

Okay, got some pics uploaded from the weekend.... They are really high-res, so if you don't have high speed access, it will be a pain, but here they are:

There are also some pics from the little SA mini-meet/drive that we had the weekend before, on October 6th.
Sorry, I don't have any thumbnails and haven't really renamed the pictures yet.... Most of them are just group shots of all the cars.

Excellent pictures from both events. I wish I could have made the drive on Sat. From the bug splats, it looks like you guys might have exceeded the speed limit once or twice.
I want to hear more about Chris's flying cornering technique.

heheh, yeah, but that was only from the drive home... Chris was my pre-flyswatter all day long, since he was right in front of me... He cleared a path for me most of the day
