Hey DTMS, can you check your Gendron bar for me?
Now I know why Bill Gendron went to the sleave design like yours. One of the collars designed to hold the bar in place somehow got loose and allowed about 2 inches of play in the bar. Now my end links are slightly bent, but I'm not certain it's because of this extra lateral movement. I had moved my end link to the same stiffness position as yours. This is a sharper angle than my previous setting and I'm wondering if this alone could be causing the end links to bend.
So can you check to see if your end links are slightly bent?
Thanks.

dtms is back to the stock bar because I have the bent endlink and looking at replacing the bearing. I should have one around here somewhere... I looked around at some stores today - nobody has em. so I'll order a few from aurora. if you'd like a replacement or two, let me know.
btw, here's a shot of dtms' endlink.
what you can't see is one of the 'separators' that prevent deflection on the actual spherical bearing itself has massive wear. I don't think those are made out of a tough enough material. I'm looking for different material at the moment and seeing how I can have a few cut out.
btw, another bushing went on his bar.

Hmm, so it's the extreme angle of the end link at that 7th hole that caused it to bend after all. That's a bummer. I'm going to have to update my article on the Gendron bar warning people not to use this location.
I have pretty bad wear on the spherical positioners, but I'm not particularly concerned about it. I did a similar search a while back on end links around town and came up empty too. If you find the right ones which can handle extreme angles from Aurora, then I definitely would like to get a set.
