I've heard mixed stories on the whole open-to-public tracking. Some have said that it would be F1 and MotoGP only for the first 5-10 years. Others, like what is being said here, have said that track days will be held to cover the costs of the track for the days it is not used by the pros. I would love to see it open for track day events on the weekends.

I've heard it straight out of Tavo's mouth live at a local PCA lunch that it will be available for DE's. Just brace yourself for the cost though, Tavo was pretty upfront that it's an expensive facility and his rental rates will reflect that. He suggested it might be a track you'd want to hit once or twice a year as something special, as opposed to being able to justify doing DE's there all the time.
The track will be configurable to be used by 2 separate groups simultaneously, and he suggested that running the full loop for DE's will not be the norm.
