First spin...
Well, it was bound to happen sometime. I was travelling up Beauford (steep hill in Jester with textured asphalt) and I was being a complete moron. I had been out off-roading in my buddies oversized Cherokee all day, and I somehow forgot that it was raining. I usually give it a little extra gas up the hill until I hit around 40. I totally lost the rear end, and it snapped around clockwise.
I slammed on the brakes and spun into someone's driveway. I forgot to clutch-in, so my engine stalled, but when I stopped, I hadn't hit anything. I was facing the wrong way, but was more or less still on the pavement. I was so relieved not to have heard any crunching noises that I didn't want to get out and look.
The stupid part is that 10 minutes earlier, I had been thinking to myself that RWD cars don't really handle THAT poorly in the rain. What is there to be afraid of? Jinxed myself.
I really need to get the Camry fixed for days like today where it's wet and nasty. My S is really tired of being a daily driver and not getting any track time like I promised her when I took her out of the stable at McDavid Honda...

RWD cars DON'T handle that poorly in the rain.... If you'd done the same thing in a FWD car, you would have understeered into the oncoming lanes of traffic, and possibly all the way into the grass on the other side. Each has its own inherent design faults (even AWD isn't the best -- I drove a stock '03 WRX yesterday and it tended to push like a FWD car at low speeds in the rain).
Just get used to whatever you drive, and it will be fine. Know your limits, and they can all handle whatever weather conditions just fine. Don't blame it on the car.

Many, many previous "spin-out" stories in the past would have everyone believe that the S2000 is a dangerous car in the wet. To me, that was a gross injustice.
You are far more mature than any of those previous "story tellers".
