Signed it loooooonnngg ago. Seems to have not meant anything, so I took it off anyways. It has been more than a year and no problems. Also, I started really noticing other cars that do not display a front plate. It is basically any nice car that is not a family sedan or truck. Look as you drive down the road...G35 no plate...Corvette no plate...Civic no plate...Lexus IS no plate...and on and on.

You would get cited if you got pulled over for another ticket, which would suck.

Here is my .02, but since I don't have to have a front plate, its great to have it registered in Tn. Just keep it in your trunk and if they give you any problems tell them that you will put it on once you get back home.

This is the updated one. The first one was pushed to a house bill that ended up having a ton of other items tacked on that didn't end up passing the senate.

I run without mine and just have it behind the pass seat so I can toss it on the dash if I get pulled over. I'm gonna get a couple suction cups for it so I can stick it in the window if I get pulled over.

I signed it even though I expect it will be ineffective. Regardless, I've run w/o a FLP for ~20 years now. Pulled over once, and got a warning. Pulled over another time for speeding (and the cop knew I was going much faster), and got a no FLP citation added on. Oh well, it wasn't a moving violation, just about $65 out of pocket - a small "tax" to keep my car's sleek lines.

Seems like it's mainly enforced against ricers.
