Hey Guys I just bought a v8 Touareg, and I want to get a custom built exhaust for it. I'm looking and probably getting a Magnaflow setup. The tricky part of this is that the Touareg has two cats on each exhaust pipe. In all of the reading I have done people say that it still passes emissions without the second set, but thats really irrelevant since my cars are registered in Idaho which has no emissions testing. So basically I need someone that can build a custom exhaust and a secondary cat bypass that wont be too hard to convince about removing the 2nd cats. If anyone out there knows I shop that is likely to do this kind of work please let me know.

Just dont go to a major shop like midas or anything like that... any shop will do it to your prefrence. There is a shop in the southside that i trust to do alot of custom work. i cant recall the name but its off of Military & Pleasonton...

Any of those ghetto little shops actually do decent work... C&D off of New Braunfels Ave, just south of I-35 is a total dive, but they do good exhaust work. If you want it to be really nice and are willing to pay, Andria Laivins up in Austin (http://www.laivins.com/) does some amazing work. He can fabricate anything and make it look damned near OEM.
