So how was everything? You guys do anything afterwards? Maybe we should plan a meet and hit up RPM indoor raceway as part of the meet. That could be fun!

The drive was short, fun and FAST!
I had plans to go watch the Longhorn football game, not sure what the other guys did.
I'd like to suggest another drive next month - starting where we ended - RR 1431, but head west out to Marble Falls. It is a fabulous road!

Seeya then?
-Steve

P.S. Ricky, better head over to RPM ASAP, heard a rumor it might be shutting down.

The drive was a blast, especially through volente road all the way to 1431. It was an awesome sight to see a bunch of S2Ks on a chain thundering through the country side. I was back and forth between 2nd and 3rd gears the whole time going over 6000 RPM everytime. That was so much fun.

It was nice to meet all of you guys - Brian (thanks for organising this), Mike, Jason, Steve and others. We should do this time to time. Yes I agree going west on 1431 is one cool twisty path. We should take that route next time. And that Z was one cool car.

It was a great time. I was really unsure as to how many people would show up and despite the weather not being perfect we got a good turnout from a good group of people.

I wish I had known lime creek better cause I'd have been able to turn it loose like Steve - he was outro on me a few times...I just didn't know the road well enough to keep up unfortunately...that or Steve's a much better driver than I am

I'm down Steve - I love 1431 to marble falls; it is an amazing road, but for me it takes like 30 minutes to get out there (I35 and louis Henna).

I didn't do anything afterwards but head home. I thought the timeframe was pretty good to - definately not too long; I can't see driving ALL Saturday you know? Anyway hope to see you all at the next one. Since the weather will get even better in October I may try to organize another one closer to Halloween...watch for it

Again it was great meeting you all!

You just need to drive FASTER! Bet you could make it in twenty!
Either way, it will be worth the trip!
