Tommy: Yes - the rain date could be Sunday or it could be the following weekend...I guess it depends on which impacts the turnout more...the forecast now has a high of 86 - perfect driving weather - with a 30% chance of rain...check here before you leave saturday; I'll post if we're going to use the rain date

Please watch this thread closely...apparently IVAN has reformed out in the gulf as a tropical storm and the storm track I saw puts it snack over the middle of austin sometime Saturday so using the rain date may not be out of the question...

I just checked the Austin wheather report on TV and the rain should arrive right around the 11 am-noon time. 
Will check back in a lottle while to see if we are a got or not.

Yeah I Saw that too....it isn't looking promising 
I'm not ready to make the call just yet though...
weather.com says only 20% chance of rain...so its looking good I think in terms of rain; we'll see!

Ok guys its 10:30, nothing on radar or near austin at all, the forecast is 20% through 3PM so we're going ahead with today's drive & chance it unless there are any objections...see you all there!
