It is currently for sale in Austin at a dealership. They do not have any good history and it appears to have had a recent oil leak. Hoping the unique hood vents can help identify it. Maybe the previous owner or someone familiar with it is here? Also subdued decal that said onepercenter or something like that on driver side. Long shot but....anyone? Has aftermarket intake and exhaust. Just trying to find some history on it. CarFax is sparce. Thx

 

I think I saw that car for sale on Craigslist about 4-6 months ago in Dallas. The guy was touting that it had such low mileage and that it was immaculate... the front bumper looks repainted to me I’d be suspect it’s been replaced. Always unfortunate to see stuff like the hood cut like that. Love the red/black interior.

Have you seen the car in person yet? You can probably get a good feel by looking it up and down and driving it. As a dealer you could even ask them to throw it on a lift and check the undercarriage.

if it’s had the bumper replaced and it’s missing a vin that might give you a little ammo to negotiate if you still like the car.

Lastly I’m in south austin, and there’s a few local S2k/enthusiast groups that I can recommend.

Thx for the reply. This isn’t the right car for me. I was attracted to it because the price was good for an 07 with the miles. After looking at the car it is rough. I will continue holding out for the right one. Looking 06-07 35k miles below with no mods. Prefer silver/red which is the other reason I was attracted to this one. I will definitely link up whenever I find the right one.

 

Good job holding out from a rough car. It might be a tall order to find that year with that low mileage but they're out there fetching good prices still. Best of luck!
