All my weapons are in Kentucky. Don't really have a place to keep them here. There is an armory on base, the problem is getting the weapons from kentucky to texas, and getting them through the gate to the armory since I do not have a permit to carry a firearm. I plan on getting one, though that will take about a year or two(until I move off base).
BTW I say weapon because a rifle isn't a gun...Gun's have clean, straight barrells, such as a 6 shooter(some pistols have a different kind of barrell(not classifying them as "GUNs". Rifles have lines carved into the barrell to rotate the bullet. Which is why it's not refered to as a "Gun"
Just a bit of random information for ya.

Okay, I kinda forgot about this thread for a while... Now that I've amassed a small collection of handguns, I tend to go out even more often -- usually about once a month.
A Place to Shoot *does* rent guns... They have quite a selection of handguns to pick from, and they'll even let you run your own ammo through them (although their prices for name brand stuff like Winchester is quite reasonable)... So if you don't have a gun, a $10 range fee and $15 gun rental fee (not including ammo) is all it takes. Not bad at all.
Anyway, is anybody still interested in this? I realize A Place to Shoot is way on the deep south end of town, but it's not a bad drive (it takes me right at 30 minutes to get there from my house at 281 & 1604 on the far north end of town) and there's not really much out there....
