Speaking of guns being pulled at meets... I am actually a big fan of guns (just not as big of a fan of gun-toting thugs that think they're "badasses" with their guns)... I'm also a big fan of being proficient at using them. Anybody else out there? I usually try to get to the range one or two times a month.... Anybody else interested in going? It doesn't really matter if you prefer handguns, rifles, or shotguns... As long as it has a trigger, goes bang, and sends a projectile at high speed down-range, it's all good. When I do get out there, I usually try to go on Saturday mornings around 10am before it gets too hot outside. Anybody else interested? I know the next two weekends are going to be bad for me, but maybe the first Saturday in August?

I've been to Bracken Range and I've been to A Place to Shoot... Bracken used to be my favorite, but I've started to take a liking to A Place to Shoot, down on the far south end of town. The fact that you can set your own target and choose however far you want to put it out there on the handgun range makes it pretty cool. That's where I propose we have the range day, if we get interest in it.

Let's get some discussion going. Who's in?

I might be willing to let some people shoot my 9mm if you bring your own ammo (9x19 Winchester or other non-corrosive ammo preferred).

Obviously it would be preferable if you guys brought your own firearms...

You might be able to. I can check with them. I know at Bracken Range, you can... Not sure about A Place to Shoot.
