Hi Y'all, Hoping someone can recommend a good place in Austin to get a proximity alarm installed --- so I can leave the top down without getting an ulcer. Also, alarm recommendations greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That said, I don't have a recommendation but AVOID Custom Sounds. They did a very, very poor job on an alarm for one of our guys on here and refused to look at it without being paid for it when it started malfunctioning only 3 weeks after install. The S2000 owner ended up ripping out the alarm rather than deal with CS any longer.

OTOH, I've had nothing but great experiences w/ Custom Sounds on Burnet - for alarms, stereo upgrades, and tint. They've always stood behind their work for me.

I'm sure it helps that you've spent enough money there to make a downpayment on a house, too! With enough money, you can buy loyalty!
