Default 1431 under photoradar surveillance

FYI, Marble Falls has started using photoradar surveillance to issue tickets to speeders on 1431 and 281. Slow down and be careful!

Where did you hear that? Did you get popped? Also, do you know if it takes pics of the front or back of the car? (hopefully the front!)

Saw it on the news. They take the photo of the front bumper, from what I could see.

My wife saw this on the news today too. I travel this route regularly, but mostly in my company vehicle.
I'm leaving the front plate off the S2000!!!

As mentioned, reason not to wear a front plate. It surprises me how many S drivers down here have 'em -- up in the DFW area, fewer do.

And as for the ticket issue -- yes, you can get ticketed for it, but the odds are low. (MY own experience: I've been pulled over for just about every offence there is, but have never had a cop even mention the absence of a front plate.)

I've gotten 3 warning tickets for it, so I wouldn't count on that luck always holding. I suspect that my being female is to credit for none of those warnings becoming actual tickets.

I got pulled over by a bike cop while sitting at a red light once because of no front plate.... He just gave me a warning. I played dumb, saying that the car didn't have a bracket to attach the plate with when I bought it and didn't see any way to put it on there. It helps to be courteous.

Depending on if they have a reciprocate agreement, you may get the ticket anyway. Usually states will have agreements with neighboring states for these sorts of things.
