28 mpg would be the highest I have ever heard of. I got 24 hwy consistently with my FIPK. Suprised because the new intake made my foot alot heavier on acceleration ;-)

I averaged right at 28mpg overall on a trip from Vancouver, BC, Canada back to San Antonio... In a two-week period I put ~3500 miles on the car. Obviously some of those tanks were higher and some were lower. But 28 was where most tanks hovered at.
Most of that driving was around 75-80mph.

yeah the 28 MPG is pretty high for me when i saw it. to Austin, mostly 75~85 and to Houston, mostly 80~90, maybe that would be a reason too, who knows.
21~22 is pretty good during daily, since i drive within city most of the time.
But then during the Austin trip, i was trying some post i read about filling gas in the morning when temperture still low and you can get more gas. I doubt this would be the problem tho.

Yeah, 21-22 during daily driving in town is about right.
That's what I used to get when I daily drove my previous S2000. Of course, I also hit VTEC countless times every day and slid the tail out around almost every corner, too...
