I pulled-up next to a black/black on San Pedro between Sears and North Star Mall today. My smile and wave 
was returned w/ an "I'm too cool" head nod. I don't imagine it was anybody here. What's up w/ not having a sense of family between S2K owners on the road here? The only S2Ker I've seen on the road that seemed as excited to see me as I was to see them was May. Come on, people! You're not THAT cool. Especially not just by driving this car. And if you think this car makes you cool, then I must be cool, too (especially in my rare GPW
). So, show some fargin love, dammit!

Wait a minute. Are you saying that was you, S2KDDS?! Now I'm a little embarrassed about my rant. BTW (repeating the same question I asked you on the Electronics forum), when did you get an '03?

p.s. The only reason my top wasn't down when I saw you was that I had just left the Wash Tub and was letting it dry. I was actually a little embarrassed to have the top up (even momentarily) on a day like today. And wouldn't you know that, during those few top-drying minutes, I would run into another S2Ker w/ his top down. Maybe I deserved the "I'm too cool" nod.

I had an 02 for several months and when I took it in for service, the employees took my car for a joy ride. I made the dealership give me a new car.
Yeah, the reason I gave you the "too cool" look was because you had your top up. You deserved it!

SportBikeHype has arranged for sportscar and sportbike driving and riding this SATURDAY, April 12th , from 9 am to 6pm, on the Le Mans course at TEXAS MOTOR Speedway (the NASCAR track north of Ft. Worth--not the one in College Station)!
