Thank you for your thoughtful and encouraging note. Yeah, I don't do Facebook either. [I don't know if this forum (Central Texas S2000 Owners) has a Facebook page. I couldn't find one.] I saw that there were 267 views of the thread so I hoped that at least one person would come and it would've been great. A cruise sounds great, too. There aren't that many of us (S2000 owners) so I am interested in making connections and staying in touch.

I did end up being busy on Tuesday, but hopefully next time. I also don't have a Facebook, so the forums are basically the only place I go to get my S2000 fix.

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, hopefully, next time you can come out.

I truly believe that the S2000 is a very special car. And I don't believe a car like it will ever again be made (for a variety reasons). No one accidentally or randomly buys an S2000. Moreover, even though mine is my daily driver, it's not a practical car for most people unless they are single or have no kids (I fall into the latter category.) Therefore, every S2000 owner intentionally bought one and knows what a special car they have. I also believe that a special car like the S2000 has special owners. So, let's find ways to stay in touch, grow in our relationships, drive our cars together, learn ways from each other about taking care of our cars, and cherish them.

I do remember a few months back seeing that a bunch of s2000 owners go to cars and coffee at COTA. I had seen a YouTube video with at least 15 s2000’s. So with that said July 21st is cars and coffee. Short notice but is anyone down? I’ll make a new thread for it. Hope to see y’all actually there. Lol

I’ll come out. We could do an impromptu cruise afterwards if anyone is interested.
