Default visiting Nashville next week

Hello, Nashville!!!

I'll be visiting Nashville in my S next week, and was hoping to get some of you locals advice, place to go eat, drive and all, if you have been here long enough, you know the drill.

I'm coming from Biloxi, MS for a conference which starts on this coming monday til the same friday. My S is wearing Potenza re-01r. the forecast says it's going to be very cold (near freezing temp), and possible snow some time during that week, so of course my question is, how bad does it get upthere? I have another set of rims, but don't have snow tires.

Plus, how's the dragon around this time? Do you think I can make it up there for some good ole mountain carving?

^ Dragon is 4 hours from Nashville. Too far for a day trip.

Yea, I saw the weather forecast for next week was calling for snow. If we even get a dusting your RE01R's will have you in the median.

BTW Where's the conf. and where are you staying ?

they are holding the conference at the gaylord opryland resort located in nashville. I've never driven the S in the snow, and not having a set of snow tire makes me nervous, but i'm hoping it'll be okay as long as i stay off of any backroads.

thanks guys! it's an environmental simposium for the air force. people from all over the country gather and share ideas and discuss new policy, etc.

i wanted to extend my stay throughout the weekend, and pay a visit to the dragon while i'm up there, but i have a feeling that i shouldn't be too brave. how's the road condition up there around this time of the year?

the dragon should be clear. I'm at school in Knoxville, but I'm from Nashville.

Some buddies are out tearing it up as we speak actually.

the thing to worry about on the dragon this time of year is the salt. They don't play around with their salt.
the GM of Deals Gap Resort (the place at the end of the dragon) is a friend of mine and he said he was losing traction in his truck just driving to work a couple weeks back b/c the salt was so thick.

oh, and don't listen to nj2tn. totally not too far for a day trip.
let me know if you end up heading this way.
