Road Atlanta - Aug 2010. Chasing down a ZR-1 on Hoosiers in HPDE 3/4 with NASA. 1:46 lap time. Huge spin at the end in turn 11!!

http://vimeo.com/14127286

This is my second time at Road Atlanta. I'm running with NASA in HPDE 3 and 4 (advanced / instructors). I was able to knock 3 seconds off my 1st time at RA with a 1 min. 46 sec. lap time.

Make sure you check out the end of the video where I had a huge spin coming out of turn 10b. I was spinning under the Suzuki pedestrian bridge! It took everything I had not to hit the 2 cement walls supporting the bridge.

My current setup:

2005 Honda S2000
198 whp
~2950 lbs. with me in it.
Dunlop Direzza Star Specs (255/40/17 square, 200 tread wear street tire)
KW V3 coilovers
Saner front sway bar
No aero mods
Track temps were over 110 degrees

I know there is some time I can knock off. I'm still learning the track. Can't wait to go back!

That was pretty intense at the end. I wish we had the aerial view. Nice save for sure.

Here are some pictures of the ZR-1 I was chasing down in the video:

Chris Rado was out there with his wild winged all wheel drive Scion:

I cracked a rotor after Saturday's track session. Thanks Rob for helping me put new pads/rotors on!

GT3 was put in the wall

Wasn't that good. Good would be correcting the initial slide before it even happened.

When is your car going to be back up and running? We need more partners in crime
