funny you mention that as I use duct tape too just too ashamed to admit it. Black tape of course but still.........

Do you place any felt pads down under your tape? Ive got some cabinet pads between the tape and the soft top and they work well together i just have to replace them every once inwhile.

 

Nope. I never gave it much thought. I may go back and add a pad now.
