SEPTEMBER MEAT & GREET
#211
i almost rear ended some car exiting off of 65 onto 254. it was close. i was worried about the long nost on the s2k and the wheels rolling momentum might put my car in jeopardy. thank god it was not the case.

Thanks for everyone who came by. I enjoyed meeting all you guys. We'll have to do it again sometime.
The Natchez Trace Parkway isn't too far from the restaurant. Any of you who haven't driven it should. It's a really nice stretch of road. Maybe we could organize a dine and drive one weekend.
Thanks again for all the kind words guys!

I'd be totally down for the Trace... as long as someone knows of a stretch w/o bacon. From Franklin north to where it ends just west of Nashville... cop city! My buddy was trying to teach his g/f how to drive stick up in the parking lot around there, going what, like 8mph. Cop pulls them over, threatens to ticket them with something arbitrary, and tells them he'd "better not see y'all in our town." (She had a CA license at the time)...

Honestly I hear all these stories about the Trace and I've driven it more times than I can count and haven't had any problems. I think just jinx'd myself. I love the Trace though.

I've also driven it many times and have yet to have any problems. I will usually drive one direction at the speed limit to make sure there are no speed traps then turn around and rip it.
