Registration is now open (closed actually) for the S2000 event of Spring 2013. The Double Dragon. We'll kick off Double Dragon week in Marion, VA at Back of the Dragon. Thirty-two miles of twisties, switchbacks and descending radius turns. Follow that up with 3 days at Fontana Village and the challenge of Tail of the Dragon. That's 318 curves in 11 miles. No registration is requirded for Back of the Dragon but egistration is open for Rockin' the Dragon at Deals Gap/Fontana Village. Spend a week driving some of the greatest, most challenging roads in the eastern US. Hope to see you there. April 7-14, 2013 for the Double Dragon week, April 7-10 for Back of the Dragon in Marion, VA and April 12-14 for Tail of the Dragon at Deal's Gap/Fontana Village in beautiful NC.

Yeah, too late to register now. So for those who are already registered, guess I'm looking for a tame convoy to drive over/down there with. I'll be driving solo from Tulsa, OK but it would be cool to have some company (and by "company" I don't mean "passenger" lol) for the last four hours and 200 miles or so. This will be my first time to the Dragon so I'm not planning on "ripping it up" as soon as I get there (kinda like in autocross, gotta start slow and learn the course first). Anyhow, I don't make it a habit of inviting myself to stuff, but are there any existing convoy plans for Thursday, April 11, that I might be able to join in on?
