Remeber you can't see the cracks with them installed. They crack on the under side. You can see, at least on mine, the valve tip sitting lower in the retainer.

but I'm thinking I should just change them to be safe. Plus with 147K might be a good idea anyway.

yeah, I'm fairly certain this is what's wrong with the engine in my blue car right now.
