Seen your thread, i've done four tops now and its not hard, as said just time consuming. i've done them in as little as 6 hours. I usually charge about 400$ to do a top. good luck with your top.

 

a new top is in my immediate future.....the current one is showing quite a bit of wear in some spots and id rather be proactive then reactive. Ill try the replacement myself on a robbins top....maybe a hardtop would be a good investment as well though...

 

I just helped my brother put a Robbins on his Miata Saturday before last. Fairly nice quality, great fit. Incidently, Robbins offers a canvas as well as vinyl for the Miata (bro got the canvas). Don't know if both are offered for the S.
