Price Quote: Soft replacement
I figured this deserved it.s own thread.
Just got off the phone with Darrel Waltriop Honda about replacing my soft top through them. The cost looks something like this before tax:
Parts : $1,150
Labor: +$2000
They also mentioned that the contract the labor out. I just can't justify the value in this. I guess I'll just follow the trend and get a hard top.

I just got mine replaced at Cool Springs Upholstery of Franklin (which, btw, is not actually in Cool Springs; stupid name) and it was right around $1400 for the materials alone.
I didn't have to pay for the labor (weird insurance scenario) but I think that came out to be either $500 or $1000. They weren't very clear on whether it was $500 TOTAL labor or $500 for removal PLUS $500 installation.

uhh, you can get the OEM materials from Honda for less than that, they are trying to rape you. That's insanely too much. I had my soft top replaced on my 04 under warranty by the dealer in clarksville where my friend works but you can contact hardtopguy and get OEM parts or talk to Slows2k from Alabama, he could do it.
