Some of my friends, and I know I have been guilty of this too, have conjectured that Obama might be assassinated.

Upon further analysis I really would not like to see this happen. We have come so far to tear down the race barriers that something like that could set us back 50 years.

It definitely would not be good.

I am not an Obama fan but he is our President elect and I will do my best to support him. Hopefully the democratic party can really make some good changes in the next 4 years. They have all the ppl in the right spots.

& people have to be patient - I know that isn't the American way, but if anyone actually listened to what the guy had to say instead of cleaning their guns, etc. - it won't happen over night.

Hopefully they will be hiring for landscape or garbage collectors in Huntsville, since Obama is gonna fuvk up the military and our jobs!

He also wants to kill NASA!

I hope he doesn't, and that he succeeds at being President!! I'm just worried about him falling to the presure and will of the extreme left in Congress now!!

I highly doubt that he'll be able to kill off NASA in a matter of 4, or even 8, years. It's too much of a pinnacle to science, I just don't think it'll happen.
It's like everyone's worries about gun laws being drastically changed, I don't think it's gonna happen.
with both of those things:
1) I don't think the people will let them happen
2) He's got a lot more on his plate to deal with first before he can put attention towards either of them.

no - I think it will take longer - 100 days will be when all the nay-sayers start whining...

He Did It Again: In Ormond Beach, McCain Pledges Spending Freeze with No Exception for NASA

"Days after attempting to clarify his ever-changing position on space funding, John McCain returned to the region this morning and reinstituted his call for a spending freeze - without an exception for NASA. Speaking in Ormond Beach, McCain promised to freeze spending on "all but the most important programs like defense, veterans
care, social security and health care," pledging to "veto every single pork barrel earmark." Notably absent was any exception for space funding, muddying a position McCain tried to clear up last week."
Obama did comment on NASA back in March:
