Well, due to my curiosity, I found out it is NOT a remake. It is pre-thing - the Norwegian camp. All I can say is FUKC THAT. imdb has more than enough on it.

I mean as in I am not watching because it is beyond terrifying. The Thing was an awesome movie for what it was. It permanently scarred me as a child.

Haha really? I guess to each his own.... The Nightmare movies scared the hell out of me as a kid....right alongside hellraiser.....other than those, I wasn't amused by many "horror" movies. Haha, then again, we are talking about 2 completely different generations of movie watching.
