...have no clue what that is....I just thought it may be a radiator/steam system. Those bastards are expensive to "work" on. But they are the best IMHO.....well over electric at least...too damn dry.

Oil....never seen or experienced it....I don't guess.
True.
But. Radiators are a moist heat. Which is much better IMO....
there are "newer" Systems now, that use a Water Heater....ideally a second water heater, that uses a continuous flowing system through piping in the floors. Heat rises, heating the house....hardwood, ceramic, tile, etc. floors are no longer cold when you walk on them in the winter, and the system can be designed to "cut off" un-used areas of the house to save on costs....which really there shouldn't be much b/c its a recycled system.....
To the best of my knowledge (which doesn't extend that far) radiators should be able to be hooked up to this for additional support.
The piping system is ideal for garages BTW.

I think what you are referring to is radiant heat.
Btw I used to sell and spec out shit like this...lol.
Radiant heat is the shit. It's tubing in the floors mostly and a few baseboards if you needed but...it's sweet. Warms the tile and stuff.
My company had it under the cement in the walkway too. There's a few football stadiums that have it under the turf.
