well, I did have the stereo entirely replaced and more speakers, etc. put in, BUT if someone were to ask me some technical question regarding the ohms, crossovers, watts per channel, etc. square root of the sum of all speaker diameters in the car divided by the number of speakers installed... then the answer is I just wanted to hear the radio with the top down on the highway. Mission accomplished.

What were we saying about how things take longer than expected when you came by Russel??? Glad you got it all taken care of.

Alex - I don't speak for everyone but I came out of doing motor swaps and working on car stuff since I was 17.... I pretty much learned by trial and error or helping out friends who knew what they were doing. I don't do as much as I did when I had my civics to cars now but I'm always available to help out or have the tools if people need some help in the community.

I sort of was like that w/car stereo's. When I was in high school I had a friend who was really good at it and I would just hang out and watch. He helped me put in my 1st aftermarket head unit, amp, speakers etc. I, in turn, did my next car on my own 3 times and did a friends car - that was well over 15 years ago though. Today I would not dream of it - todays car interiors are downright scary - not to mention the advances in car stereo technology, etc. I'm back to being a by-stander fo' sho'. Trust me - if ever seriously consider doing something other than slapping on a sticker or getting some better floormats I will come begging.

The Q is great. I have nothing negative to say about it. Especially the black version which has a nice texture to it. I'm just bored with Verizon and the phones. With this price increase it gives me a way out and I can switch over to Cingular/AT&T.

I used the blackjack a few weeks ago and like the feeling it has in my hand. The downside to it was the keyboard though....the Q's layout is ftw. I'm willing to compromise though on that.

I have A.D.D with certain things, like cars, wheels, exhausts and a couple other things...I would swap every other week if i could.

I've had verizon for 6 years now and have no issues at all w. them...i'm just looking for a change.

On the Q the call quality is great. Awesome speaker phone. I can have the speakerphone on and put the phone on my leg while driving and I can still talk....this is with the top down too, windows up of course

The display is great too. I think the Q and the BJ are two sick phones.
