got the car back from the Clutch install. She drives like a brand new car! Only a few miles in.. but the Exedy OEM clutch kit with F1 flywheel is FTW.

an ACT clutch and HD PP with a 8lb flywheel is what we discovered was installed previously. makes sense why it was SUPER loud/buzzing with a very stiff pedal and hard as shit to drive in traffic.

Big to Jordan for the help with everything! Really appreciate it dude!
How long did it take ya'll?
As far as actual hour wise, I had it done in about 7-8 hours, but like Jarrod said, that was with some badly cross threaded bolts into the oil pan that I had to correct. I split it up between two days, just so I could have my buddy help me with the tranny drop and lift back in part. Everything else was done 100% by myself.

My pleasure. You really can't work on a car too many times....unless it starts with an F and ends in ORD.....
Awe man, get off Ford! I've owned a plenty, raced all but one and never had any kinda issues! Not to mention, you can build just about ANY one of them, no matter which, for cheap cheap cheap! It's the people that put junk parts on them, like the apc ghetto junk on civics and it breaks that gives them a bad name Of course, that could be said for just about everything.. haha

But they are a pain in the @$$ to work on. MY wife's Taurus is ridiculous and my buddies ranger that I always helped him fix was a POS as well. I just have never had good experiences with them. Driving wise, sure they're pretty good, but when things break, they're not so fun. Working in the junkyard had me dismantling lots of Fords and I can't say I ever really liked doing them....haha.

Oh and the ACT kit Jarrod had in his car was pretty well worn in. Previous owner had it in there for awhile before Jarrod bought the car. Disc was almost all the way down to the rivets. Maybe 1/32 of an inch left or so.

Did you reuse the fly wheel?

Nope, put in a new one that was lightweight, but wasn't quite as lightweight to get rid of all his clutch buzz. It was pretty bad and it felt like you needed 1000lbs of pressure to press the pedal. No fun.

Yeah, the kit he had in there would be great for track use, just not fun for street. Especially streets that have a lot of traffic.
