The C&D article talks about the lack of space for a turbo. Looking at the pictures, it does look rather cramped. I'd guess they'll come out w/ an STI model in a few years but currently, there isn't a 'Wow!' factor to me.

 

The car isn't about high HP. It's about quickness. I'm kinda surprised. I figure more S2k folks (non convertible lovers) would be on board w/ the car. Very similar power numbers and a coupe.

It's not that I'm not "on board" I don't give a F about power for power's sake alone - I don't race people. Quickness it perfect, I just don't get how Toyota & Subaru are putting out a car that looks well = we already covered that.

 

Ah, yep. Yea, just like the old days. You're right thought about the production numbers being so low. It's tough now w/ investment costs to offer something at such a low volume. This way they can spread it across both name plates and its a global car.

Still very happy with it, it is change of pace, but it serves a purpose w/luxury.
