Just took my co-worker's attractive daughter out for a ride. about where Vtec (maybe later seemed like ~6-7k) should engage in first, I got a quick grind noise and it didn't rev any further. Quickly shifted into 2nd to save face but any ideas?
VTEC issue? Maybe popped out of first but not quite into neutral? I had some harsh but quick pedal vibration

or where you already moving and then heard the grind? sounds like you misshifted

I was just accelerating. left foot on dead leg. Good on oil, I'm hoping it's a onetime thing, I still may reset MAP and ECU this weekend (since I actually have one
