Kentucky's State Police got me yesterday between Scottsvile and Glasgow's for$163. I just was not watching my speed, while going up and down hills it only takes a little throttle and the desiel pulls another 15 MPH, DOH!
I got pulled over last Thursday after I put on the new tires, brake pads, and rotors for Road Atlanta. I was scrubbing the tires in to get the slippery film off of them and testing out the new brakes. The cop was behind me on Nolensville Rd. in an undercover silver Camry. I was slaloming very abruptly to scrub in the tires, and then proceeded to accelerate to over 100mph and jamming on the brakes. The cop pulled me over and was laughing while walking up to my car. I was also laughing because of the amazingly stupid driving I was doing. The irony of it all is that I was trying to make the car safer before I hit the track with it. I told him what I was doing and he let me go with a "have fun at the track."
