It will not fail. Just play around with that link I sent you. It is really helpful. For your "stock" sizes plug in my package - 255/40 r17 17x9 +45 - and then plug in your wheel/tire sizes for the second section. It will tell you exactly how much different your package will be to mine. As long as it's close to what I'm running, or event a little less aggressive, then it will clear.
yeah but now you spooked me with this 10mm off & over steer crap

You people are all crazy w/ these wheel sizes/offsets.

Alex, let me be Devils Advocate here, since you do it to me

You NEVER track your car and typically just enjoy it locally and even commute w/ it.

Find wheels that you like that fit w/o having to roll fenders etc. Wynn already mentioned that going this big could make the car act differently. Just like tossing on a Turbo - you need a ton of supporting mods - huge wheels require other things too! Wynn outlined above.

For a street car, x10 wheels in the back are beyond overkill

If you're in love w/ the certain type of wheel...then well...it doesn't matter

Yeah, and 18" tires are $$$. It just depends how good you want your car to look if you're not tracking it.

And if you are tracking it, don't do it on bling bling money wheels like those
