Wynn,

In case you missed the post in the Bama forum, the hitch weighs 22 lbs. Plus the way its made, you can take the entire "t" brace out by 3 cottor pins. You would only have prob 5 lbs of added weight then.
Thanks. 5lbs isn't bad at all.

That sucks hardcore. You're out of warranty by 3 months.

It might be worth calling MS. Sometimes they'll make an exception.

no hdmi on them back then

ironically, my OG release unit finally RROD two weeks ago. The solder used on the first units was incorrect, and can end up with cold solder joints after prolonged use (excessive heat). My GPU connection is what failed on mine. I was playing MW2 and the graphics all of a sudden looked like it was 8-bit color. Then it just wouldn't come on, but would stay with the green light like yours Alex. I baked it (three towel trick) and the solder warmed up enough to re-seat the BGA, and it worked fine......for a few days, and then I was back to having to bake it again. Bought an Arcade-Jasper w/ HDMI
Yea, I did the 3 towel trick to get the solder to re heat ect and then I took mine apart and took the 2 X braces off. They are the reason for the problem. They get hot and flex the boards, which inturn messes up the solder connections. Now the CPU and heatsink ect is just bolted onto the board. Played it for a full week after the repair and it never had another problem!!

You even called it, you were like, "I'm getting a goal tonight.. I'm getting a goal tonight, you're getting a goal tonight too." I love beating those assholes.

I was told about some kit that I could buy for about $40.00 on Amazon that would address the heat sink issue assuming that that is the ultimate culprit... The SUCK thing is that the guy who did it successfully? well it rrod'ed AGAIN tonight - after a couple of months of error free usage.

Does it remove the X clamps? There are 2 and if it doesn't remove them, then you will continue to have the same problems.
