note to selfish, rude, uncourteous drivers...
FVHK YOU! My week has sucked, plumbing is jacked up - can't find a #$@% plumber so I can't wash dishes, run the dishwasher or wash clothes. The dishwasher is now leaking because it is filled w/stagnant dirty water due to the clogged pipes. My wife has been out of town since Wednesday and all our retarded, co-dependant dogs are getting on my nerves and one the cats is going through withdrawls due to her absence. I have been living like I was single again just eating junk food and anything that won't produce dirty dishes - no biggie really. I do have someone coming in Monday to fix the pipes. This morning though I woke up to a world of schit - literally... Ramsey (dog) had explosive diherrea all over their damn pen and then rolled in it. So now I have more dirty (schit covered) laundry that I can't tend to and had to mop the kitchen floor to clean up all the mess. I will have to give him a bath as well.
So...I decided I would go for a spin and head up to Nashville and buy a model or something at Phillip's Toy Mart. The drive was relaxing as hoped for until I got into Nashville and some lady pulled out in front of me - did'nt even look as she was too busy talking on her cell phone. You know what though? That didn't bother me and those things never do - I ALWAYS ignore it and move on - to me it is not worth getting hostile and seeking some sort of revenge by honking and shouting obsceneties or the likes - nobody was hurt - move along. I do my thing in Nashville and head back to Franklin enjoying my tunes and my car. Then it happens. I get off on my exit to go home and approach a fresh red light. This exit has 2 lanes that turn right and 1 that turns left. I am 1st in the far right. There is a train-like line of cars that are heading right in front of me as I sit through the red light. To MY right is a $#%@ line of cars that want to turn right (they are not even in a LANE) as if I was not being a good driver by just pulling out into a solid wall of cars... What a bunch of arrogant, rude, scumbags. I had a wave of anger just come over me and as soon as the last car passed I pulled out and cut them all off! Wait your #$% turn in line like everyone else. Call it road rage, call it stupid or whatever and AGAIN I don't do that kind of stuff, but you know what if that is the way it has to be then so be it. Not today though - not today...
I am still so pissed I got my left and rights all mixed up!

My dear friend, it appears that your anger and frustration has reached a boiling point. May I suggest a sundrop, watercolors channel on XM, and thoughts of wonderful childhood memories.
I have had those days as well, but at least you can grin while driving your S

I had to talk about it - cutting those a-holes off didn't make me feel any better. That stuff just grows so old though. My previous home was at a busy 4 wasy stop in down-town Franklin. Day in and day out I would have to "beg" to be let out of my own driveway and subsequently let back in. How rude. RUDE. I recall several mornings backing out slowly only to see a car "speed up" so as not to let me out of my own $%@% driveway because, you know, those 3-5 seconds lost allowing me to pull out will cause one to be late for work....

Vadster,
I assume you will be pulling for Peyton tomorrow? There are 2 great articles in the Tenneasean about him today.
I am a TN fan and a Peyton man. I appreciate a standup guy and he always stands up and either takes the heat/criticism and defers the credit.

I was talking to Jake (Dark_Sub_Rosa) about this. Ultimately I really don't care who wins the Super Bowl. I really like Peyton alot (Tennessee Vol relations aside) but, the only reason I would have to pull for Peyton is just so he can say "Hey, I got to a Super Bowl and won" and get it out of the way.

Likewise I would like to see him get the monkey off his back. Jim Brown in an interview on XM the other evening said his performance against NE should be enought to quite the naysayers, especially when the Colts were down 21-3, but unfortunately they won't quit talking about him not being able to win the big game until he wins the Superbowl. And then some won't get off him then-jealousy.

I don't feel any sympathy for Peyton, some people still feel the Bears aren't good enough to be in the Super Bowl. I'm glad to see PM in the big game, but I've been a Bears fan as long as I can remember... Hopefully it is a good game.
