Why? Are we too old to have fun anymore?

I don't think you ever outgrow the street racer mentality if you enjoy really driving cars. But you do tend to develop better judgement with experience. Unfortunately there's a great deal of bad judgement involved in acquiring that experience.
No no, thats not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying there are many immature adults as well. I have seen both parties do some VERY questionable driving. No matter how old I am, as long as I'm able I will be driving fast cars. Sorry for this misunderstanding.

Good luck, I guess? I'm glad you're learning your lesson. Not to be mean or rake you over the coals or anything, but I can't imagine why, at 19, you have that car. Good gosh, my kids are going to hate me.
hey im 19 and i have that car

No problem. I was just giving you a hard time and forgot to include a smiley.

Okay, but my statement still stands. Most 19 year olds, males in particular, do not have the maturity to drive a car like an s2000 responsibly. I am not male bashing, but it is widely known in the scientific community and the general population that males mature slower than females. I happen to like boys as much as anyone, so I'm not bashing. With that being said, if you are one of the few who possess the maturity to drive responsibly, kudos.

And to the OP: I know it would be nice to get out of this ordeal without a charge, but like I said before, isn't it time to take responsibility for your actions and face the consequences gracefully?

Well Molly, I see where you're coming from, but if I were in his place, I know I would want to get out of this ordeal with nothing to show for it as well. You never want anything on your record, nor would I want to lose my car over it.

yea im fine taking the blame for wat i did but i also find that it is complete bullshit that the other kid gets out cause of the ****ing army ill take my punishment but that kid should too not just one of us cause the other is a soldier that is complete b/s

and i would be complety happy with getting a speeding ticket and wreckless driving thats is 10x better than drag racing on my record that screws me for life for one mistake that every male and some females has made once in his life

sorry for the langue im really pissed at myself for this

and ive had faster cars than the s2k
