Friday, November 27, 2009 There will be a large group of people/cars going to the Gap. As far as I know everyone will be heading out of Knoxville between 7:30 & 8:00 pm. I do not know how long everyone plans on staying up there but It should be a blast. If you have never been at night, it is a different experience so, please be careful if you decide to come.

If you plan on coming and want to meet with everyone somewhere please let me know.

Right now everyone in the Knoxville area will be meeting at the Party City/Sonic on Kingston Pike. I will actually suggest that everyone on the Tennessee side stops at the pull off right before you get into the Dragon and wait around because meeting at the Kingston Pike spot is out of my, and other people's, way.

If you are coming from the NC side of the mountain let me know so I can keep my eyes on the look out for you.

....Wish we were closer....!!!! We have been doing this the last several times down...for the "WTD & DBR" events....It is.............a "WHOLE" different perspective of this awesome stretch of road......

This will probably not work out since you did not give the proverbial 6 months in advance post with a pole to see it this was an acceptable date, nor are you starting at some bar. Have fun!

 

I am not the one that set this up. Some Knoxville locals did and I was just extending the invite. One reason why I posted in this section because it is short notice, so I was giving locals a chance to come out. Right now we have about 12+ people coming out so it is working out just fine. It's not an s2000 meet. Meeting places are established already. Thnx.

If it does rain Friday night I will obviously not be up there but if the weather ends up being nice Saturday then I will most likely be up there on the 28th.

Chris, I might not be going tomorrow night because I really do not know if I want to go up there at night with some of the idiots that are going to be there. I am going up Saturday around noon though if you are interested. I will tell James too or you can that night.

I go at night. It is not a big deal for me but a lot of young guys with their rice will be there. It is also going to be below freezing with a decent chance of precipitation. I just have a bad feeling about.
