Default new schwag

ok so after over two months of waiting and every excuse under the sun on why prostreet.com hadn't shipped my act heavy duty pressure plate and street disk and 12lbs flywheel i finally argued enough and got them to ship me the clutch and pressure plate and an act 8lbs flywheel. and they finally came in today from those guys with the awesome brown shorts!!! gotta tell you awful customer service from prostreet! will not buy from again. anyways i cant wait to get them put in next week my clutch has been slipping for 2 months (hence i ordered them 10 weeks ago).

well i was planning on doing it myself i used to turn wrenches for a living but i talked to brad from reddell who kinda keyed me in to what a pain in the rear it is and have a shop on standby to do it besides i work for firestone and my employee discount is pretty crazy but then again i like working on my own stuff. exactly how much of a pain is it? i have the tech manual but from what i was reading you have to unbolt the steering rack and take a knuckle off? and the top two bolts and almost impossible to reach.

i got it down to 2-4 hour dependsing if everythign parts/tools is right on hand.... really u take the steering knuckle loose and drop the subframe down 2-3 inches but never totaly remove the bolts and then the only hard part from tehre is getting the long extension on the tranny/motor bolt thats holds the starter on and then just pulling the tranny out...if u have a garage with air and the propper air tools its really not bad at all i did it twice in one day cause my buddy forgot to pull teh clutch fork out so we had to redo it all...lol...it comes down to if u like wrenching or if u have spme spare cash to blow...i can even help if its on a sat. afternoon or sunday

i might hit you up on that i have air and the tools that go with it and plenty of jack stands and just about any tool you can think of. i paid last semesters tuition by doing brake jobs and random crap on the side but i am looking at spending less than 300 to have a shop do it, but then again i am really broke! anyone wanna buy my drop top mustang in the garage? i forgot i haven't updated since the last few mod's i got in some ricks2k clear side markers and had some vinyl made for the drivers mirror (check my gallery i just uploaded some pic's) an 08 mustang gt gave me shit about the sticker on the mirror, oh isent that cute maybe one day it will grow up and become a V8, the only person laughing was his girlfriend when i waxed him down broad street with a slipping clutch and a 50lbs bag of dog food in the back
