Default never guess what happened

driving on pellissippi parkway with the top down just enjoying a little less traffic then usual when i make the final merge at dutchtown rd. I can hear rocks just pinging off the car so i slow down and get in the left lane (construction trucks off hardin valley are almost always up and down that part of the rd. and left lane is normally safe) It looks and sounds like one of the trucks spilled a bunch of crap on the road......

anyway, everyone doing about 45 now and an asshat blows past me in the right lane doing 75 easy...flings a rock up and of course it creams my windshield. no visiable damage on the road though so not that big of a deal right?

WRONG. I get off at my exit and hear that sound when ice is cracking on a frozen lake.....I looked over and sure enough there it is, about a 6 inch crack down my windshield

Guess that isnt a new front in my future

check your insurance first. I believe I have glass coverage with my plan. It has no deductible, 100% coverage, and does not affect my rates.

If window cracks or broken replaced at no cost. They even send someone to you for the repair.

not too bad....called insurance and its covered under comp. but she tossed me a name and number for someone. He gave me her discount and after delivery, install, tax and everything its 315 bucks. Not bad at all  it will kinda be nice to have a clean window again too....no pits/chips
