Hey fellas,

Against better judgement I bought a 2001 Silverstone this past weekend that was missing a few parts. I dropped it off at Accurate with HondaWill it looks like I need lots of parts. Apparently this car was autox'd and many parts were pulled off to save weight. I guess after I test drove this car the toal awesomeness of the s2k caused my logic proccessing unit in my brain to disengauge and bypass certain car purchasing protocols.

Will is going to make a list of needed parts this week but here is a preliminary list of items that I know I will need.

AC- drier, condensor, expansion valve, compressor and hoses

all emisions control equipment e.g. hoses, pcv valve, etc

Stock springs - it is slammed and tires rub on every bump.

exhaust - at first glance it may have a test pipe so probly a cat converter. The muffler is mounted directly behind the cat and doesn't extend to the rear of the car. So I will need a new exhaust. If any one has a used dual out there let me know.

Also I will need an intake. The current one extends way too low and is only inches off the ground.

And a Silverstone Hood. The current hoos has a whole cut in it where the stock air box would sit. It doesn't look terrible but I am not fond of it.

If anyone knows of a salvage yard that has an S2k or just has a friend with a wrecked one somewhere please let me know. I would like to get little project on the road as soon as possible.

I have a Cat and OEM AirBox

 

I've got springs. I will look aroung to see what else I have.

 

I will be removing all AC stuff too but not for a while. I should wait for Hondawill's list. Do you have pics?

 

What up Lee. I will post pics of his car Tuesday. Its a nice lookin S, just needs a little TLC. If any of you guys have any spare parts, help Lee out.

I've got a stock airbox and filter.

 

ive got some AC stuff, oem airbox, silverstone hood, oem exhaust/cat. so if you still need some things, ill be back in nashville sometime in november...

I was able to score some stock springs today, many thanks to Liquidstation. He may have other parts for me but I'll need to get my list first.

Illezimports - I would definitely consider purchasing your hood.

Will thanks for the badge, I will try to drop these springs by on Tuesday. Hopefully you can put these on and fix my rear end/axle issue this week so I can at least drive the car for a few weeks on my temp tag. That will give me some time to gather all my parts.
