Default Need help with window problem

Today I heard a loud grinding coming from my driver side door. I have a feeling that it is the motor for the window. Has anyone had to replace one of these before? Also, where should I buy a new one? I was just quoted $296 for the replacement, from the dealership.

Just today when I was rolling my window down. It really makes more of a cracking noise. How do I remove the door panel? I've tried before but I feel like there are hidden tabs I can't see.

Don't worry about the cost, I got a spare everything for sale! Find out what the problem is first.

There are a few screws in a few places then everything else is clipped in. What part of town are you in? I have a shop manual if you need.

I'm in Brentwood. Ok so today it sounds like something broke and there are a bunch of pieces floating around in there.

You may just have a bolt or two that have fallen off. Let us know what you find.

Ok so today has been pretty shitty. I took apart my door panel, pulled the old motor out, and replaced it with the new one. The only problem I am having now is getting the cables to connect correctly. It seems like there just isn't enough slack to get it around both pulleys. Does anyone have experience with this. If someone wants to come help me fix this I will gladly pay you for your time. Otherwise does anyone know where I can find a diy on the window motor replacement? I've checked everywhere and can't seem to locate one.

I had to use a screwdriver to pull it off the pulleys when I took it off. use a screw driver with leverage against the pulley to guide the cable onto the pulley.
I might be able to come by at some point and try and help out.

but I couldn't find a diy either, so I just figured it out as I went.
