I'd complement you on a nice snag Matt but I don't know squat about acoustic guitars. Oh, what the hell - congrats! 
I took banjo lessons many moons ago and was playing Foggy Mountain Breakdown inside a month. Incredibly easy instrument to learn - 10 times easier than guitar.
